The Pub,as it is called today, is better known as the Buckeystown Meat Market, a place where you could order a fresh cut steak or pork chop meal or cut, wrapped and frozen to go. The Meat Market was also known as a deer checking station. If you didn't want your meat, it would be processed and delivered to the soup kitchen,
The Meat Market was purchased by Dick, Pete & Ronnie (Three Fools) in August 2004. The Pub has seen many changes over this short period of time with many more to come. The most notable are the addition of the Patio, new clean bathrooms, and the addition of Crabs, in season, to the menu.
